This week we wanted to highlight four non-traditional but very powerful websites for real estate pros. These sites aren't the usual suspects like Zillow, LoopNet or WheelhouseBrokerage.com, but here's what they bring to you as an evolved landlord:

1. Stalk your competitors online.
2. Stop paying your mortgage at exactly the right time.
3. Exploit cheap labor more effectively.
4. If there is blood in the water, this site will help you sniff it out.

1. HousingMaps.com - a great mash-up of Google maps and craigslist.

2. CalculatedRiskBlog.com - provides more financing information than you could ever need.

3. RedBeacon.com - just won Best-in-Show at the renowned Techcrunch50 conference, it aims to help people find local services such as plumbers, gardeners, handyman, or contractors.

4. ForeclosureRadar.com - in our opinion, the best foreclosure site out there and we've used them all.

Have fun checking out these sites. As always, we're here to help - we'll see you next time. Congratulations to Dan Lieberman as the "Free Labor" content winner! We had many landlords submit requests eager for our free help, but only one could win.
