i worked on thiaf before... what a fucking work...joined the vessel on rotterdam The nedherlalnds.. the foods sucks.. give me a lot of fucking bulshit...
I worked on the D.B. oDIN IN 1980 TO 1981 refurbishing its accomodation. It was a converted oil tanker with a crane that could lift 3000 tonne! it was huge and boy it floated up and down like a toy in a bathtub when the waves got up in the Irish Sea!! Happy memories. still have the photos of her.
i love this video as it show that heerema like to hiring a lot of asian people.especially the welder, fitter and rigger from malaysia.we are asian people appreciated it.hope you guys keep on this as there were't many kind of job like this in south east asia.thanks
Great video. It's rare to get such close film action. Those heavy lift vessels are simply huge. The Saipem 7000 was anchored in our local harbour last year for cargo etc and me and my dad went off in our little boat for a look around her. We actually got within 40 feet of her - I kid you not!. Talk about MASSIVE!!.
Today i'll had the honor too work on this beast, Weldfix.
