I'm so happy!! Finally out of 9 yrs of riding I have made it to 4h STATES! And the most awesome thing is that I made it on a horse I spent 110$ on at a slaughter auction in 2007. I broke him, trained him and did EVERYTHING with that pony myself. Not even a trainer or anyone gave me help. I worked off of Clinton Anderson methods and had him lunging, bomb proof, and broke in the first year. He now knows tricks too! Salute, Spanish walk, and bow. In progress is lay down, sit and smile.
So here he is, with a time of 22.677 in barrels.. Jack!! (show name- Kiss Me I'm Cute!) - and hes only 13.2 hands, yes I know I look big for him, but this is my last yr riding him and hes completely capeable of carrying me, or even someone bigger. I'm just 5 '7 so it makes him look really tiny.
