  • @steve9e Then no, Steve! You'd be quite surprised the depth and solid chrome work of these chinese apprentices... It seems them learn fast! Har har...!

And for the brakes I HAFTA warn myself: I live in a big city! Any lobothomyzed SUV driver's the best explanation for...

Take care, ride safe and enjoy life, Steve!! Hurraah...!!!

  • @mutterschied WOW !!! do not rub that chrome too hard or it may rub off? I hope you enjoy your bike including the cleaning. Do not worry about the brakes - you want the bike to go not stop?

  • @steve9e A dazzling CJ OHV chromed everything but the tyres. Loaded with chinese `hi-tech´ features like aluminum rims, SS spokes, hi-ratio couply gear, wide handlebar, hi-comp pistons, et alas.... But those damnedest moped-vintage-style brakes... Mrmmm.....

  • @mutterschied hi, Do you have a CJ or a BMW?

  • @steve9e Then it look really fine. Damn! This is envy... (Har harhar.... congrats, fella!)

  • @mutterschied

hi, The front brake is off a URAL, but I am not sure which year or model. The brake had been fitted by a previous owner. My bike has no sidecar brake either - no problem, but I suppose it would help. Thanks for your interest.

  • @steve9e My CJ750 has a lame and weak narrow side-placed brake on both wheels... and the sidecar hasn't brake at all!

    Grunt!!

  • @steve9e Gee, I've just acquired YESTERDAY a resplendent beautiful OHV BMW-white with BMW parallel pinstriping...

    ...and...

¿What in the damn whackin hell is this fabulous front brake drum of yours, hein??

  • Originality - I have got over that one. Its my bike and probably the only one in the world after I have finished with my personal tweeks? All I know is that it attracts plenty of interest and is good fun.

  • Thanks for the video. I am hanging out to put my order in for the M1S, left hand car. Reading all the comments and watching the clips just reinforces my determination to get one. And anyone expecting 100% original..... don't buy one. The changes made improve reliability by today's standards. Get over it.
