Rick Dye, Administrator of the American Colleges of Mixed Martial Arts (ACMMA), breaks a board, another with his head, a concrete block, then, for his Ultimate Black Belt (UBBT) test, he will break a coconut. Make note of the monologue during this entire video.

  • pretty cool, but being able to do that with preparation isn't the same as a spontaneous attack against a moving, thinking opponent.

it shows great focus and singularity of will though, good job.

  • @guiltybystander77 -- Master Dye knows this, and you are right; this is more for concentration than anything else.

  • I go to that school.

  • Nice video! And I like the mural, very nice. By the way, I've found that the best strike for a round object, like a coconut, is a hammerfist strike. It lets you apply TONS (pun intended) of pressure on a relatively small surface and the large amounts tissue on that part of the hand serv as a form of protection for the bones. Nice video.

  • Great job - thank you Brent!
