Castlevania II: Simon's Quest (NES) Walkthrough (Part 11) (Endings) (Final)

The eleventh and final video in a walkthrough requested by mortley123. Yep, the Endings pretty much all suck! The Final Level is nothing (literally) and Dracula (who looks like The Grim Reaper) is a joke, much easier than any other enemy in the game. Some bad design choices in this game. I explain in the video how to get the different Endings and here's how I interpret them. 1st one, the curse is removed and Simon is alive, but then Dracula is shown to have survived. 2nd one, Simon dies, Dracula's curse is not removed and a new young hero is called to help for a future time. 3rd one, Simon dies, the curse is removed, everyone lives happily ever after (so when I said worst Ending, I meant in terms of time and also it's even more boring than the others). @GuyNinja57 Considering they're talking about the "Death Star" at one point in the game, I think we're past the phase where they can actually answer all the questions we would have about the script.

wait... if Simon died in both the average and bad ending... whats the difference???

and wouldn't the Best ending tectonically be the worst because Dracula rose from the dead in the next 24 hours?????

@PsionicGamer In the average ending, Simon died, but the curse has not been removed. In the worst ending, things are strangely better as you die a hero and the curse has been removed so that's the difference. In the ending you get under the best conditions, you survive (so I guess that's why it's the best), but yeah the fact that Dracula comes back is bad. Maybe it's because you stay alive and get to continue the Belmont legacy who will be able to fight Dracula in the future.

i could never beat this game...i guess u needed to buy a guide to figure all this out...

@katknows Pretty much yeah, because the game itself is poorly translated and they don't even tell you what to do with the special items in the manual (like kneeling down for a couple seconds while holding some orb in your hands).

@ it wasnt till later that the curse was for all of man . that the evil in there hearts would bring drac back to life. that reason alone was is what kept the count to return. so now you have more and more sequels. this perspective of the curse is stupid cause naturaly we all have evil in us. and there are people who do worship this kinda thing. id think if they wanted there god to come to earth someone would make it so. any how just babaleing but you know what i mean. thanks

@PsionicGamer in a way what your saying is true. but for the fastest time you get the true ending. yes simon dies. i dont think a human can withstand the count twice in a row and live or not be crippled. i think simons quest was ment to end it all. drac is dead and gone. period. like a two part series. but they returned it (good fee back)to define to curse more. oreganaly the curse was ment for somon only. it forced him to ressurect drac. or hed become a vampire himself.

@DarkEvil87 that's a very good thing to do, BUT... if you ask me, when you do that trick it'll don't be a cool and funny and excited battle, only says that I'm SELF thinking so ya know... X)
