Kampong Tanjong Tokong - Overview

Kampung Tanjong Tokong in Penang is facing another eviction issue almost similar to Kampung Buah Pala. Citizen journalist Chan Lilian went to Kampung Tanjong Tokong to find out from the residents what they are going through.

She found a kampong with more than 50% of the houses demolished. She spoke to several people at a nearby wet market, people who are still living in the kampong and also those whom have left the kampong to stay in transit houses provided by UDA Holdings who is the developer of the piece of land.
