  • this song sure brings back memories of "that fateful day"...when the militay seized power in the us...here i am 45 years later, still reeling from 11/22/63

  • This is the 1990 Byrds Reunion with McGuinn, Crosby, and Hillman...a far superior version to the original version. And for those of us who remember, life hasn't been the same since that day in Dallas.

  • Who took lead vocals on this ?

  • *sigh*

  • The day John Kennedy was assasinated, the world was plunged into a darkness from which it never recovered. From Dallas came Martin Luther King's assasination, Bob Kennedy's assassination - the worst excesses of Johnson's handling of the Viet Nam war followed by Nixon's immorality right up to Bush and his "weapons of mass destruction".

John Kenedy was a friend on mine and indeed everyone in the world alive on 11/22/63 - Rest In Peace John

  • @rustyoltimer Isn't this from 1965?

  • @pieman420 Yes I remember that Fateful day too - it so makes me Laugh and Cry when their "descendants" go on about Regime Changing other Countries, yet how many Americans even realise that that is Exactly what happened to them on that day. I was 9yo and a UK citizen but even then I knew that a load of SHIT was about to go down. And it's STILL going down(hill).

  • if its at all possible, their harmonies are tighter here than in the 60's!.........sooooo beautiful

  • this is my frist time listening to thiss son anddd this is thee best song a ever heard 4/15/2010

  • Not an alternate but a re-done for the Byrds Box set

  • I likt this version much better.

  • 45 painful years since then.
