I made some raw dinner for my family tonight...

Raw Dessert- Avocado, banana, lemon pie!
crust:
1 Cup Soaked sunflower seed
1tsp your sweetener of your choice
1/2 cup soaked raisins
Filling:
1/2 avocado
1 & 1/2 Lemon juice (can do lime or even both!)
3 bananas
*** Blend the crust in a food processor and then put it in a pie dish. Then blend the filling (yes it's that easy!). Pour the blended filling onto the crust and garnish as you like! I put mine in the freezer for 30min just to let it settle.

Salad- Spinach, red bell pepper, tomatoes, asparagus and dressing.

Raw pasta- zucchini, tomatoes, red bell pepper, garlic, basil, spices.
2 zucchini
2 tomatoes
1/2 red bell pepper
2 cloves of garlic
4 basil leaves
1tsp or more of cayenne pepper
Mixed spices by braggs (free samples http://bragg.com/samples/samples_14.php)
*** I used a vegetable peeler to make the pasta from the zucchini's. Blend all the other ingredients together and top on "pasta". I added sprouts on top of the pasta. :)

  • Hey thanks 4 the comment! The dresses is made w/ 1 or 2 garlic cloves grated, grated ginger (as much as u like, I use 1tsp), around 3tbs of non filtered apple cider vinegar (I really like Braggs brand), lemon juice (how ever much u like, I love lemon so I use 1/2 of a lemon), organic cold pressed olive oil (I used around 2tbs or more depending on how much fat I want) & then add ur favorite herbs! I love chopped basil or rosemarry! :) Be creative & c what measurements suite ur pallet :)

  • That is the cutest pie ever! I LOVE avocado and banana together, yum!!! Beautiful presentations dear. Are you and Mom all raw? How wonderful that you and your family can enjoy lovely raw meals together. Ps. the asparagus on top of the salad look divine!!

  • @MadelynWithRawFood Thanks! I make mine with the juice of 1 lemon and/or 1 lime, 3 TBSP of extra-virgin olive oil, 4-5 cloves of garlic, a tsp. or so of dulse flakes and the same amount of kelp granules or powder. I will have to try the mixing in of ACV with the citrus juice and some ginger. I clip up fresh basil on my salads too - I haven't tried fresh rosemary but do use it with fresh sage in my raw crackers. YUM!
