I work for a modelling agency, so I am usually pretty used to airbrushing but a well-known New York magazine has had photographs taken and airbrushed of one of our girls, and I think this must be shown.

I actually went anorexic for a while coz I wanted people to find me pretty :/ look my page, I recovered but I know that most don´t.. luckily I did recover from it.

But I still feel insecure :(

idk how to change that, I wish I had more confidence :x

'See, its fake, don't starve for that,' - they DO know it's fake. Everyone knows that today. A lot of the time media isn't even the culprit. A lot of the time girls - and boys, too - don't want to be so skinny to be so skinny but because they THINK they're not skinny enough, or in some cases, full enough. When they look at themselves, they see something else. Once they've started, it's HARD to STOP. Before you blurt out 'eat a burger!' or 'skip a meal!', think - things aren't so black and white.
