  • I supposed they´re from moscow, but I wasn´t sure. Thanks for the tip, by the way, do you have the course? I want to compare them both, but I get neither the book nor the audio. If you know a link where I could read it...

  • @GROVERS7 Yes during the first lessons the speakers speak slowly but then it gets quicker in the following lessons. And yes they are from Moscow ( it's mentionned in the book)

  • This assimil course is the 1999 edition. Maybe they speak slow because the accent. I think they`re from Moscow or a eastern region. I have assimil course 1971 edition and the russian speakers are from St Petersburg and their prononciation is more fluid and fast but you can follow the text (in cyrilc) and audio,

  • where did you get these audio recordings ,

  • just FYI everyone here is spoken at maybe 70% of the actual way it's supposed to be said so it sounds kinda weird to me at least - they could at least say it at normal speed the second time round
