I see no need to ever waste money on effects pedals again. I just need my old acoustic guitar and a lot of imagination and experimentation. Wow!! What an ethereal sound they achieve using alligator clips of all things.
Is alligator clips just another word for staples? At a concert, William Kanangiser said that you can get the same sound with regular old staples. Either way, the sound is so wrong and yet, so cool!
lots of experimenting with alligator clips........i just went over this in my guitar class a week or 2 ago, my teacher is pretty cool about things like that

you can use an ordinary toothpick to create this sound... in our country, many guitar ensembles use this kind of technique...

they put alligator clips on their strings you can buy them in appliance/hardware stores
