I found the Australian revival to be too over the top for my liking. The costumes were too much, it was too over-sexed, and over acted.
That being said, everyone here needs to stop comparing these guys to the characters from the movie. a movie and a stage show are two very different things. Why would they make a carbon-copy of the movie (costumes et all), when people would just rather watch the movie anyway? Of course they're going to differentiate themselves.
