This is the first time I drive my firebird after I did some work to it.
I Installed:
-New 10 bolt locking rear end with 4.10 gears
-Complete front disc brake conversion
-New sway bar bushings and upper/lower ball joints
-New master cylinder, proportioning valve, and power brake booster
-New rear shocks, and bushings
-New rear multi-leaf springs
-New Cragar Cast Aluminium Wheels with 15x7" with 4.25" bs on a 5x4.75 bolt pattern in the front with 225/60/r15 indy 500 firehawk tires (From Alaska Tire Service)
-15x8 rims with 4.5" backspacing on a 5x4.75 bolt pattern in the rear. 255/60/r15 indy 500 firehawk tires (from Alaska Tire Service).

Car has 5.3L Motor with carb conversion backed by a 700R4 Trans.

And as far as the background music goes, It was what was on the radio. I do not own any of it and all copyrights belong to their respectful owners.

  • Ya! It was pretty awesome. It's been warming up here during the days, but then they dry out and freeze over night. I did this at 9 am in the morning so It'd stay clean ;)

  • Cool Car! Great job on the restore. Glad to see some of he younger guys getting into these old classics. My Nephew has his stepfathers 68 Firebird 400 convertible. Teal Blue w/white top all original. He was the original owner bought it new in 68.

  • Love your car.

  • must not fap

  • How do you like the swap? I'm thinking bout doing the same on my 77 firebird

  • Just watched the whole deal..wow..what a find, and you made it into a treasure..now all the hard work pays off. Its a beauty! The Beatles "she loves you" at the end topped it off...I was 11 yrs old in 1967, and remember falling in love with the firebird waaayyy back then..Youre a lucky man..and all the best to you.

  • Gets me excited for Spring!
