Because of the number of replies about captive anole keeping, I wish to remind viewers that THIS IS NOT A CAPTIVE ANOLE! I do not keep any captive anoles and did not put up this video for that purpose.

A green anole lizard scopes out the tree in my back yard. I must stress this anole was wild.

  • When I was down in orlando for a vacation last year I found a green anole chilling out ontop of the blinds to the window! Being from canada (where no reptile could survive the cold :P) I thought this was soo so cool!!! I caught it and released it on the outside of the pool fence thing so it could be free but it was a cool little experience with the wildlife of florida :)

  • @MissBlondieCheer That was a good thing for the lizard because they cannot survive indoors (unless there is an in & out spot).

  • where do you find green anoles please answer

  • I really love anoles. They're so sleek and minimalistic in design, not very showy at all except for the red flap under the neck. I just find anoles very appealing from a visual standpoint.

  • @MissBlondieCheer Must be alot of cool penguins in ur backyard there in canada.

  • I always ctach them and hold one once I kept it but let it go a week after but dont worry I had the proper care

  • I saw one of those lizards when i lived in Arkansas and i held it. It was also on my birthday.

  • @nonamer145 You are probably right.
