@skillaonthebeat2011 Fetchland and Force of Will/Brainstorm/Daze/Swords to Plowshares is almost assuredly two even within the first two turns of game. Another creature is going to die probably too (since, you know, you're either playing against another creature deck with things you need to kill or a control deck which is going to kill your stuff), plus sorceries aren't that uncommon, so usually by turn 3 or 4, Tarm is like 4/5. And this is generally in an average game.

@ShadowWaker101 so explain why he is so expensive. first of all how the hell are you supposed to get a land, creature, artifact, enchantment, instant, sorcery, and planeswalker into the graveyard say by turn two? woooowwww im scared 7/8 for 1G. umm I'll vapersnag that thank you. umm haunting echoes? i dont get it just cuz it's 2 mana. Tarmagoyf sucks. period.
