Alex is one of jazz's finest! I hope he keeps making music 'til he passes! (And even then I think future generations should study his music!)

@kittycat1961 You can already hear that soul man. I can't hear soul in too many keys players today. No disrespect to their craft....I'm a bass player at soul but a musician at heart. But I understand where you're coming from.

Just listening to my favorites while doing homework. The flavor on the keys is BLACK, his uncle is Donald Byrd, he has okra and Harlem history and as a youngster played with a Southern Church of God in Christ Group .......wonder why he is so soulful, should you have to guess. And yeah he has too outside of living all over the world, lived with his dad in Swit.........and can say he is Swiss, but just know and it's not a secret
