This recording, which has been floating around Atlantic Canada for years, features the angriest man ever to call his provider because he's missing Auto Trader on cable access. He's one of the great cursers of modern times. The original recording was an answering machine tape, and this copy is a copy of a copy of a copy, because everyone who hears it just has to have one to play for their friends. If anyone can tell me what the hell a dogon (?) is, maybe you could enlighten the rest of us. You should try doing what I do for a living...

  • The word you're looking for is "dogan", which I believe is a slur for Irish Catholics. This is all from memory, mind you, I recall reading one of those pretentious Canadian historic novels that took place back in the 40s or so awhile back, and the word made an appearance there.

  • Ha! Thanks for that!

  • @carriesworld ..lol ! i d love to hear that version !

  • I always thought Dogan meant dildo? At least that's what I assumed based on the way it was used when I was in elementary school...... (the word that is)

  • Hilarious! I had the cassette tape years ago but since lost it. On a whim I thought to see if it was on the internet. Can't believe I found it! If this came out today I would think it was fake but this tape was from an earlier time before moronic behaviour was lucerative. Plus this is atlantic Canada. This guy's probably a mayor or something! lol

  • i went to call my uncle as a joke to say this and i called the wrong number lmao the guy was like crying

  • I brought the cassette tape to Vancouver in 1988 from Toronto, we got it from Nova Scotia where we're from.

  • This was actually a cult cassette tape that was passed on in a grass-roots way before the internet. I heard this in Vancouver in around 1990

  • I heard this years ago set to classical music. awesome. anyone have that version ?

  • I still have a copy of the original cassette. I got it back in '95

  • lol i live like 1 minunt or less from where this picture was taken( i know its an old picture) who in the world is that?
