I wasn't watching a lot of BET in early-2002 for obvious reasons. But it was the last year the network really had appeal to African-Americans before the turn-around/shake-up/sellout began the next year. Sad to see what the network has become today... On a good note, I believe 2002 was the first year of "Uncut." LOVED watching it on the late night!
