It's not gooey. It's more of a solid, not a liquid. It's frozen gel.

its not really gooey. its kinda like hard jelly.
And its good coz the gel is their food, so you dont need to feed them =D

The blue stuff is a gel that they use instead of dirt. The ants can eat the gel, so you don't have to feed or water them. Also, the gel makes it a lot easier to watch what the ants are doing. It's pretty cool. I got the kit at Spencer's
