This track is taken from DNA Strings' DVD "Live in Cape Town. It was originally composed by Mike Batt and has been covered by Vanessa Mae amongst other well-known artists.

DNA Strings is one of South Africa's best-known instrumental bands. They have won awards for Best Live Performance, Best Duo/Group, Best Contempory Band and Best Contempory Album and have received numerous nominations including Best Instrumental Band.

The music, of which the essence is captured in their live shows, can be described as pulsating, energetic, uplifting, passionate and powerful. They have become known for a dynamic, interactive, vibeing show that has the crowd clapping, dancing and cheering, always leaving them wanting more.
Their live show is a showcase of their fusion of styles which include: African, Irish, South American, Traditional Folk and even some North African Arabic sounds. Flamenco Guitar, Violin, Drums, Bass Guitar and a multitude of percussion from all over the world dish up their ethnic sounds. Their sounds have taken them to other parts of Africa, the Edinburgh Fringe festival in Scotland the Seychelles and even a show in the Royal Albert Hall.

@SuperDonna888 The main theme is very much recognizable. The idea was anyway not to play the original version because this is not a cover band. It's an instrumental band playing mostly original material with genres like Spanish, Irish and African fused together. The song was rearranged to fit the band's repertoire and its fans, who requested they play this song.

This is the worst rendition of this composition I've ever heard, it's almost unrecognisable. In my opinion it's a poor poor performance and arrangement.

I'd give it zero out of ten. I think I could have done a better job and I don't rate myself at all.
