The mist limit breaks were over used in FF12. Stringing together a 12-13 combo took FOREVER. By the end of the game i was sick of seeing them all.

The Japanese voice acting is a lot better during the quickening but besides that the English voice acting is much better in my opinion... Not too often that you see that.

Indeed its true that the Japanese actors pour more emotion into it.
The English voice actors did a great job on the dialogues but also performed poorly during the game's Mist Quickenings, for example, Ashe only moans during one of her Quickenings and overall lacks "chanting" dialogues compared to the Jap versions.
