Nightline Satan Debate

This ABC Nightline debate happened at Mars Hill Churchs Ballard campus, and featured Pastor Mark Driscoll and Annie Lobert debating the existence of Satan with Deepak Chopra and Bishop Carlton Pearson.

I just want to ask people to be rational and think, and the truth will present itself. The so called Bishop contradicts himself in so many ways. If you used to be a "demon caster outter," then one thing pops up now that you don't believe: You are a liar and deceived those you claimed to set free from demons. Which means you are not God sent!

This is backed up by the fact he said Satan was omnipresent and omniscience; this is completely false. A bishop that does not know the Bible?!?!

I was appalled at how quick these nonbelievers were to insult. I look at things from an unbiased point of view and I was disappointed to see the nonbelievers really had no substance whatsoever with what they said. All they did was attack the believer's person instead of showing there was no God.

And in instances contradicting themselves, forgetting man is fallible and science is not a 100% otherwise new theories and laws wouldn't be replacing older ones and we would've had mastered nature.

The TV programme ensured that any clips of Mark which were used to open the show, were all taken from the few times when he's at his most extreme or in a Mickey Mouse T-shirt. - when there are hundreds of clips of him to pick where he's sharp looking and cool.

THAT is no accident.

Deepak is such an arrogant closed minded bastard. His entire body language shows complete ill will towards those that don't 'believe' in his books. He just straight out hates Christians. Why wasn't he attacking the beliefs of his lucifer worshipping friends?

I really enjoyed this debate. Deepak chopra and his partner in the debate were very good speakers. Deepak Chopra is not Satan... LOL. Satan was created to get people to sign up for their religion and give money.... More money meant being able to do war campaigns.... So this was why Kings took such an interest in the Bible... They owned what was emphasized. People need to think.

I will say this. As Christians we are not supposed to try to debate or use the Bible to prove anything anything. The Bible shows how good we are at screwing our life's up and how God fixes us in our brokenness. Isn't God big enough to hold His own and shouldn't we be more worried about loving God first and then our neighbors?
