Lobbyists. The word sounds ominous, doesnt it? David takes a look at the influence peddlers working in the Minnesota State Capitol. (Commissioned by Twin Cities Public Television.)

  • Great video, except you forgot to say that most of the lobbying is to take civil rights and what is good for the country and the people out and put special interests and big corporations in. you also forgot to say that these special interests with the money are paying off professionals and specialists to say things that are favorable to them (mostly lies) and that is how they convince the government and people that their product should be accepted. Best example is the pharmaceuticals.

  • The argument for lobbyists seems to be that they help bridge the gap between elected officials and the people. But in the age of the Internet, I don't think there is such a big gap that needs bridging.

It is all part of da conspiracy right? I guess the native Americans on the west coast of the USA where fluoride is naturally common in drinking water just happen to discover advanced fertilizer 1000+ years ago and started putting it in the water to attack the white man right?
