  • It was a time when a gay man in sequins playing a piano could sweep America. And everybody's mother loved Liberace. No wonder right wingers still hate the sixties! Remember when right wingers were laughed at? Now they say NO and everybody takes them seriously--- forgetting that their ideas of the Free Market almost destroyed America.

  • @quirpco Yes, that would be a wonderful idea! Actually we need an international campaign to keep Liberace's memory alive - and especially since his Museum is now closed. He did so much to popularize the piano and at one time was the highest paid musician. He also needs a postage stamp made in his honor among so many things. We must keep this amazing, talented performer in the minds and hearts of future generations.

  • @notfarfromhome Hahaha!! It is!

  • Liberace always had a great time on any show he was a guest on.

  • The best video i have seen yet.

  • What a great talent and a good sport he was R I P Mr. Liberace..

  • Hands of gold! I always wondered who wrote his arrangements? Himself? Remarkable and I have been a lifelong fan. One of my inspirations for learning the piano, my father was the other - 1952! I am still in awe.

  • Liberace loved to make fun of himself and though he was a

piano virtuoso he made his music FUN to listen to.

There was never anyone like him before or since, and

I miss him doing his goofy Chico Marx "Beer Barrel Polka"

right in the middle of a classic number!

  • He was such a perfectionist...

  • How I wish I could have seen Mr. Showmanship in person! Thank you for the music, Liberace!
