This is absolutely incredible..... I'm doing a fight scene for "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" at my high school, and we have a 3 minute 30 man brawl. at one point in the fight, however, my character (an ogre) steals a sword and engages Peter with a steel axe in one hand and a hand-and-a-half sword in the other. I can't seem to find anyone who has a (good) video on dual wielded stage combat, especially with two completely different weapons. has anyone seen a video like that????

Rules of sword dueling precisely state duelists are to fight bare chested to prove they have no protective coverage to avoid injury or death; so why do most dueling films have duelists' chests covered?

@Dare2bDumb did it go well? or the show hasnt started yet?

I learned some basic stage combat (movements, cuts/parries 1-6, punto reverso, etc) for a production of Romeo and Juliet i was in at my high school last year. For our talent show im doing a scene with a friend of mine involving stage combat. I watch this video for inspiration, and was quite impressed.

@MageryGuy I'd like to add these people are doing great. They learned their movements down to the point it happens without thinking. Good show.

@foreign010 Its "Stage combat" Duh, It is fake. The moved are based on real combat but with added flair for show and to tell the story. If you want to join anything look up SCA, Live Steel, one of your local Medieval Fighting Guilds(google), or join a LARP.

@WRCRainbow There is no such thing. Pick a time period and location then study that. You'll learn more.

You people are talking about fighting and acting as if you know. Its disgusting. Like little boys playing soldier while daddy is off in the sand box. Theater Fighting of any form is based off the fighting style its rehearsing. Many of those moves and such are real with a bit of extra flair added to look better or based on the real move but changed to make it safer to preform. If someone screws up they get hurt. This is the direction behind Theater Combat. Look real, Don't kill anyone.

Good work guys, fun to watch. Took a brief stage fighting introduction once and it was good fun.
