I own a reissue myself and have played through a few originals. Tonally they sound pretty similar however I've found that the reissue tends to be a little bit louder.
If you really love the old fender amps you'll probably be able to hear a bit of a difference in tone but both the originals and the reissues sound pretty tits in my opinion!

Yeah .. I liked the Princeton Reverb 2...myself...

Great playing Michael!
The Princeton is for my money one of the best (if not the best) harmonica amp around.
It responds so beautifully to cupping techniques and has a liveliness and sense of dynamic touch that no other amp can rival. Clean and pretty or down and dirty, the Princeton has it all.
It's no wonder Big Walter was often seen using one!

great playing
I have a question.
Are the Fender 65 Princeton Reissue amps as good as this?
(The reissue has a tube rectifier like the original one you're playing)
