@mistamadscientist The WWE experienced this same lull back in 1995 or so, before Austin made his 3:16 famous and The Rock was Rocky Maivia. It's just a matter of time before the company catches lightning in a bottle again and finds the next big thing. CM Punk is a good start. In the meantime, I hope to see the likes of Angle and Lesnar return to the WWE for one last run.

@GhostSpectre Yeah I understand what you mean. I agree that WWE needs to push their new talent a lot more. And soon!!! Did you notice how much of a crossroads WWE is at right now?? HHH, Undertaker, and Rock may possibly ALL be retired by next year. Aside from CM Punk, WWE really has nobody I would pay to see(and Orton has ALWAYS been oeverrated in my book). I'd love to see Alex Riley, Kofi Kingston, Zach Ryder, Evan Bourne, and Cody Rhodes get major pushes in the near future. Thats just me.

It's the same old dead horse being beaten. It's great for ratings, but it doesn't do anything for the future of the product.

@deanml116 I hate the new blood just as much as the next Attitude-Era lover. I'm just saying you can only grasp onto Austin and Rock for so long before they become like Hulk Hogan or Ric Flair and fade away.

@GhostSpectre While you make a good point, I just know that Stone Cold gives me a reason to actually ENJOY Raw(unlike Miz, Cena, and about 90% of the guys I see on it these days)
