On Oct 9, 2008, the Cassini spacecraft makes its closest ever flyby of Saturn's moon Enceladus. At the point of closest approach, Cassini will be only 25km above the surface of Enceladus. This video demonstrates just how fast this encounter occurs. The video is in real time; the trajectory is marked off in 3 second segments.
