A tip if your embarrassed to change a pad at school or some place is on top of your normal pad place two pantie liners. So if they have blood on them you can take that one thing off.. Hope this helps :D
the last time i had my period was in september and i am wondering if this is bad. its always irregular sometimes every other month. oh, and also i lost 10lbs do you think that could be causing the gap in between each one?

@PinkChocolate115 It could be, but only if you've lost weight to the point that you're becoming severely underweight. (which in itself is unhealthy, TRUST ME I've been there done that) If you're losing weight and skipping periods I would urge you to see your doctor to make sure there isn't a serious problem. If you just skip one period that's not horrible, but if it continues it can negatively affect your peak bone mass which can increase your risk of osteoporosis later in life.

@COLOURFULCOOKIES1 It may just be that she only notices it then, but the shedding of the uterine lining isn't something that starts and stops. This might be kind of a gross metaphor, but it's kind of like draining the liquid from a can of beans. The liquid doesn't stop (because gravity doesn't ever stop working) until it's all gone. It could also depend if she's using tampons. When you take them out would be the only time she would notice blood coming out.
