(LinkAsia: January 27, 2012) Twenty-three-year-old Park Jung-geun was recently arrested as a "North Korean sympathizer" under the controversial National Security Law for tweeting "pro-enemy" messages. LinkAsia host Yul Kwon spoke with his lawyer, Lee Kwang-cheol, who says the tweets were pure satire, and that many people are rallying to his cause. Footage from Reuters

In Germany its illegal to fly the Nazi flag or defend Hitler. In South Korea its illegal to defend Kim Jong Il. Same logic. Freedom of speech does not include the right to defend dictators and insult their victims. Uriminzokkiri is guilty of libel, they call defectors "human filth." the ROK government has the right to punish people for libel, just as every govt. does.

  • @yorubablk3 well said

  • yes there is no such things as "freedom of speech" in a western imperialists puppet regime.

everyone should post north korean propaganda in south korean media in response to this.
