  • @joebeccario Actually, I would suspect Americans to dislike this video more often than foreigners because Sousa is more well known here, but also disliked because most folk say his marches are dull. Ignorant, but majority. Like the way Congress is run. No smart people, no artists and everyone not on a side. Democrats and Republicans can both go rot: I'm part of the "American" political party. It's very exclusive. You have to care about Americans and love Sousa marches to get in.

United States Navy "Honor, Courage, Commitment."

United States Marine Corps "Semper-Fi (Fidelis)" -Always Faithful-

United States Air Force "Aim High...Fly, Fight, Win"

US Navy SEALs "The only easy day was yesterday."

Salute to our troops. Until the end

  • what's up with music videos having pictures of outer space on them?

  • Makes you proud of Those whose Sacrifices in many contexts helped form the Fabric of this Great Republic. There are so many voices against her, but this Land must prevail for there is simply no other shining light that has and will continue to give Great Example of Freedom to the Rest of the Globe who continue to suffer despotism in its many insidious forms. I say Patriotism isn't dead and Globalism cannot substitute, nor should it be allowed to subvert us. God save this Land!

  • Well played. Crisp, clean articulation, intonation 1-A, balance very good. And a great contrasting use of a really GOOD cornet section in addition to the Trumpets. You can hear the difference. And the idiots who feel the need to spout political commentary over the music of a fine american composer can save themselves the effort: sometimes wonderful music is just wonderful music for it's own sake.

  • disliking this video would be insulting a lot of marines specially who died for our country. assholes

  • @JasperTag26 Sounds about right. At least, it does until Congress computerizes education, outlaws war and bans music XD Let's hope we never have to see a day like that, although I'm a bit of a pessimist and can imagine it happening anyways.

  • @20wgm11 Indeed, but it doesn't change the fact that Sousa was all about the Marine Corps bands and that his music is very patriotic. But there is a lot of room to separate the musicality in is pieces and the patriotism.

  • @Korban3 no matter what people say, the teachers will always teach, the servants will always work, the soldiers will always fight, but music is NEVER dull

  • @Korban3 Consider that Sousa was a composer of the Romantic period and try to put aside the patriotic trappings. The music has a beautiful dynamic and counterpoint.

  • @jeongjailee hahaha to you stupid
