Well if my brother was abducted (I have no sister) and he was going to be killed that night, I'd rather have the killer meet me than kill my brother, be it in the forest or outside. There's a bigger chance I could stop him that way. Does that make sense to you? I haven't watched the movie myself so I don't know if she could've gotten help then or not. I would call the police as well but go on alone just in case they wouldn't come. My brother's life is more important than my own.That's how I feel

She went alone because nobody would believe her no matter what she said or did. Other than Molly she had NO ONE! That's why she went in the woods alone. If she tried to take anyone with her, they would've taken her to cops and couldn't risk being seen with anyone without getting caught. And she told the cops at the end of the movie, I don't blame her AT ALL. I would do the same if I were her. You have to look at the whole thing on a deep level to understand what I'm saying.
