This video shows a demo of YETI, a digital bulletin board we created as a front-end to a social networking and content sharing infrastructure for work groups. The prototype was deployed between FXPAL (www.fxpal.com) and Fuji Xerox's research laboratory in Japan, allowing research colleagues to share content by posting it online and publishing it to shared digital spaces and to public space bulletin boards. The project was called YETI because we were dealing explicitly with the support of sharing across time zones - YETI stands for YEsterday Tomorrow Interface. This project won an ACM design award at the DIS (Designing Interactive Systems) conference in 2004.
