@valdezmiguel2 RMC does pay for your medical school, because i called and asked them. you may go to civie but they still pay for it and you get payed. Who is the retard now?

mack4020-- during residency (3+ years after medical school) military doctors make MUCH more money. After that, it DOES depend upon your specialty with some civilians making much more, some making less. After you pay back your military time, you can go civilian, though many stay in because of the good people. Best of luck!

don't military doctors make significantly less then their civilian counterparts though? I don't think money should be an argument. I'm not knocking military med, i'm currently applying to USUHS
