After several days of rain, and a particularly heavy 24 hours of rainfall on the Pennines around the drainage basin for the River Hebden, the River rose several feet in height and roared through the town centre of Hebden Bridge. This footage documents the River height at dusk at the following locations in Hebden Bridge: Waterside Fold, Nutclough Mill, the bridge behind the Shoulder of Mutton, the pack horse bridge in the town centre by the Hole in't Wall pub and Old Gate. From Old Gate looking towards the White Swan pub the river seems to be beginning to flood. Happy New Year!
Quite dramatic
