Ginger Oven Pork Ribs
Orange marmalade, fresh ginger, soy sauce and tender boneless pork ribs. Perfect served over fried rice
6 lbs. medium size boneless pork ribs
8 cloves fresh garlic, peeled and crushed
6 T. each Soy sauce and Orange Marmalade
2 T. ketchup
1 T. fresh lemon juice
1½ t. grated fresh ginger
½ t. coarse black pepper
½ cup juice from baked ribs
Place ribs on large sheet of heavy aluminum foil placed on a large cookie sheet. Rub crushed garlic into ribs on both sides; seal completely and at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove ribs from oven and increase temperature to 375 degrees.
Reserve ½ cup of juice from baked ribs, draining off any remaining liquid. Create basting sauce by combining reserved juice with soy sauce, marmalade, ketchup, lemon juice, ginger and black pepper. Reline pan with foil and return uncovered ribs to oven for about 10 minutes after basting with sauce on all sides. Without turning ribs, repeat this step 2 more times. Turn ribs over and repeat basting step 3 more times or until tender.
STEP ONE:
Show ribs, rub with garlic, wrap in foil and place in oven
STEP TWO:
Out of oven, set ribs aside (reserve juice) and make sauce
STEP THREE:
Reline pan, Baste both sides of ribs and place back on pan
STEP FOUR:
Keep basting while turning ribs over
Serve on plate with rice, sprinkled with cut up green onions and sesame seeds
