I've loved this song for about 30 years. Used to drive my Dad up the wall when I'd work on my car in the garage, and instead of hard rock music coming from the boombox, I'd be playing a tape of THIS. It's a bittersweet song for me, reminding me of things that are beautiful in this world, but also making me remember how shy I was as a teenager, how my heart was so delicate, and how I've reluctantly moved on, never quite loving as deeply as I did the first time.
