Running Red Alert 3 "Ultra Settings" with 2xAA, 30FPS application-picked cap and 30FPS capture.

It runs perfectly during the entire round no matter how many units there is on the screen at any given time.

And no, I am all but good at this game - I just started it up and my strategies are kinda slim.

Running on:
MSI K9A2 Platinum 790FX/600SB
AMD Athlon X2 6000+ @ 3200mhz
2GB OCZ AM2-EPP RAM, 800mhz, 4CL
Sapphire HD4870, 512MB GDDR5
Creative X-fi Xtreme Gamer
Western Digital Caviar 500GB
Thermaltake Toughpower 750W

  • @mramf1994 that is a matter of opinion. Ive been playing command and conquer since 1994, back when i got my first copy for the sega saturn. Ive always gone snails pace, because ive wanted to savour the experience. Sometimes i'll wait until im sure that they are depleted of all resources to make my move. Thats my choice. Patience is a virtue, it isnt for noobs.

  • makes me wanna play red alert 2

  • guys how can i show my ram video card with my video card

  • Attack will always be the best defense when it comes to strategy games. Keeping the pressure on your enemy is keeping the enemy out of your house. How your manage to pull it off is entirely up to your skill level and tactical awareness. Choosing to defend when it's gives you an advantage and opening is not turtling. Turtling doesn't work against truly capable opponent.

  • I have a GeForce go 7900 GS on my shitty 3 year old dell laptop and it plays smooth on highest settings too

  • Why does someone think rushing can win for sure? I will camp in my base, set good base defenses of infantry, tanks and air support and some base defense structures and then when playing soviets focus on building 30-40 twinblades and then tearing his base appart. With a little support of 10 MiGs i am defended from air and all that time my economy builds up while i sleep before my comp. Waiting for you to destroy my base! I beated 2 Hard PC's against Only ME while turtling for 1 hour!

  • developers dont rush, huh?

well watch their vids and see for yourself

  • @mramf1994 The developers don't rush, they keep the pace high. The rushing I am looking at is the mindless balance abuse of one certain unit type the first two minutes in the game.

  • rushing is not an act of noobing, you just dont know how to do it

if you watch some developer videos, they will teach you how to rush.and they dont encourage you to turtle because command and counqer is a FAST PACED STRATEGY and it has no place for noob turtles

  • @MrJackBauer24Fan I only tried the demo on my Windows 7 64-bit RC (Build 7100) and as id Games had to patch the game to work with Windows Vista there's something hilarous going on with their older engines being somewhat handworked for every current OS it seems.
