Cholula: The Most Sacred Site
Part 6 of 18

Pilgrimage Into The Heart of Anahuac is a series of video lectures by the Mexica Movement. Mexica Movement is a Nican Tlaca (Indigenous) Rights Educational Organization for people of Mexican, "Central American", "Native American", First Nation People, and all Nican Tlaca people of the "Western Hemisphere" ("North America").

The Purpose of these videos, and of the Mexica Movement, is to enlighten our people and the rest of the world on our heritage. We want the world to know of the overall beauty and genius of our Nican Tlaca Anahuac heritage, and of the crimes and terrorism of European colonialism over the last 500 years. We want the world to know that Europeans intentionally killed 95% of our population (70-100 million of our people) in the largest holocaust in the history of the world. They did this genocide with the use of smallpox as a weapon of mass destruction.

These are just some of the subjects in our videos:

**Over 4,000 years of Anahuac civilizations: Olmecs, Zapotec, Teotihuacan, Maya, Toltec, Mexica, and other civilizations and cultures

** Unity of all Nican Tlaca (Indigenous) people of the "Western Hemisphere".

**Identity for people of Mexican, "Central American", "Native American", First Nation People, and all Nican Tlaca of the "Western Hemisphere".

**False Hispanic and Latino labels.

**Explaining why Full-blood and Mixed-blood people are one people.

**The accomplishments of our people in astronomy, math, calendar making, writing, education, medicine, science, engineering, architecture, city planning, pharmacology, arts, literature, society building, theology, agriculture, cuisine, and many more subjects.

**Crimes of European colonialism.

**25 Archeological sites that are sacred sites.

  • A plan for restoration of our site will be good. We can build around and over the "invasive architecture."

  • The first step is to remove the desecration. Remove that church that is meant to keep us on our knees, as slaves to Europeans.

  • Another great video.I suggest adding diagrams of Cholula's interior, subterranean, exterior (without the church) and a maybe a comparison with the Pyramid at Giza.

  • Great idea. But we only have so much time and so much money with which to work with. We had hoped to do even more at Cholula but we ran out of time and money. Perhaps somewhere down the road we can re-edit the materials to enhance them even more. Or maybe go down there again. But thanks for the feedback.

  • bring the church down, do you see any church on top pf the giza pyramids?

  • i did not know about that site. i watck a lot videos about history and id never seen sthing like you guys are sshowing. muy bien muchachos, i dlike to go there.

  • take that church down knock it down !!!!

  • Let's destroy the church!!!!!!

  • You don't want to destroy the church. You'd want to take it apart carefully to make sure you weren't destroying anything significant to you. The Nahua were smart, and often incorporated parts of their sacred sites- sculpture and whatnot- into the architecture of the churches. For awhile, the Spanish though the conversion to Christianity was going smoothly until they realized that they were burning copal outside the churches and leaving offerings there for reasons other than Christ.

  • i wanna go there now....damm but no money

  • the church should be destroyed!!!

  • jmanny666,

that church should not be "placed somewhere esle", but should be destroyed.......

Our people were fine before churches were built in Anahuac, and we'll do fine without churches on our continent.........

  • i was born like 5 minutes away from there

i always thought this pyramid was beautiful but yes its a disrespect to have that church there i agree it should be placed somewhere else.....

  • that Church the Spanish put up is similar to the U.S. Government puting the name Harney Peak at the top of the Black Hills in SD..

General William Harney massacred Brule Lakota women and children

  • the church symbolizes the rape, subjugation, humiliation of the land and the culture on which it stands.

It's a shame if a world cultural heritage should be left in obscurity just because some parasitic building over it.

If people object in removal of the church, it should be relocated somewhere else.

  • so you want to take the church off?

  • I would like to visit Cholula. It looks so beautiful.

  • You should have said "The spaniards did'nt put the church in top of the teocalli...they made us put it in top of the great teocalli" which is a lot worse. Great information.

  • great stuff.

  • i´ve been here many times!!!
