Hmm i have the same problem (kinda)
well there was this firefox update so i downloaded it. When it was done, Firefox safemode came up and i was like wtf? S i opened it and the screen is blank.. i cant refresh or go to my home page or ANYTHING!?
wtf.. can somebody help please..

Yea, i think ive worked it out though...
try this. (if dosnt work you may need to restart computer with fire fox completley closed.
This only works for xp btw vvv
1.Right-click the icon you use to start Firefox and choose Properties.
2.Click on the Shortcut tab.
3. Make sure the Target: box doesn't include -safe-mode at the end. It should only read "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" for default installations of Firefox.
