I was at this race and remember Bill Elliott had to come from behind due to a bad pit stop and led a pack all the way back to the front.

This car had a manifold that would let air in under the restrictor plate! Junior needed some wins to hold Mcdonalds. They got the largest fine in Nascar history the next plate track race because they tried to run it again.
