Only people who have never met an Oranda say that fish have no feelings of pleasure! My Black Moor hates being touched, but I am able to pick up my little Pearlscale, who doesn't seem to mind me touching her!

I've only seen Oranda's do this kind of behavior. Ranchu's do too, but it's not as common as Oranda's. I wish someone would do a thorough analysis of this phenomena. Could this mean that in the future, goldfish (Mainly fancy) will eventually become more acceptable towards human contact?

That is so cute! He just throws himself at you xD lol. How demanding are they in terms of water conditions compared to a fantail or black moor? I have a fantail, black moor and a ryukin in the same tank and would like to possibly get an oranda in the future.

My fish that died recenelty was a goldfish, her name was Sonny. But now i bought 2 more goldfish, (Only 2, in a 10g tank) but Lu-Lu or Lila doesn't trust me... I got Lu-Lu to eat from my hand today, but none will let me pet them, they both run from me when i put my hand in the water. I had them for 2 days. How do you get your goldfish to trust you so well? Please reply?
