  • in fact, i dont know nothing about african culture

i live in a industrialized, stressed and somewhat sad 1st world country.

  • You are the archaic one. I have come to learn that those who know nothing about others are the ones that have no culture or pride in who they are. I think you one of those.

    Enjoy this 12 Century Music.

  • One of the most entrancing things here is the way the "beat" changes so suddenly and all the dancers know exactly when they are going to be doing either the fast 1-2-3, 1-2-3, or when they will go back to the 1, 1, 1, which seems to be in 4 -- hard for me to get it but I think it's that 4 against 3 perhaps that's so entrancing. I love this!

  • theres something fascinating in this archaic dance

  • Sorry! let me corret myself, i meant to said: ..like the bird which whci knows where to look for food is to alwyas belief that the day of tomorrow would be better than today.

    ;O)

  • Ah the very Acholi people!!

THEY DANCE THEIR BELIEFS TO MOTHER EARTH!!!!!

That my friends, like the bird which know where to look for food is call FAITH!!!!!!

Best to you all Acholis!!!The Spirit dances with you, always!!!!!!!

  • very talented, i love your culture

  • Labala \o/

  • We Africans who are living outside Africa must invest heavily back a home to preserve this rich heritage. People let us not allow our African cultures to die out! Long Live Africa!

Imagine if all the dancers were putting on the head dressings (kono, ceno etc), what a beautiful thing it would have been!
