Jeezz..... I did not mean to upset u. When u mentioned bill condon's version of Twilight (breaking dawn part 1) is good I thought u implied u are a fan of that movie.

You're right. Potterrules ((teen) Harry Potter fan?) doesn't see Pattinson as Eric Packer, that's his opinion. The way he referred to Pattinson though clearly indicates that he is prejudiced against the actor chosen for the role. It doesn't matter he doesn't see Pattinson as a badass character, 'cause apparently Cronenberg DOES and that's the only thing that matters, And I trust his judgement.

In my comment I have made it perfectly clear that I am not a Twilight fan and that I am capable of objectivity when it comes to films in general (you are not, as I can see). The problem is I can not see Mr. sparkles as a bad ass character like Eric Parker. OK u are right. May be Mortensen is too old for this character. But U have to remember Mr. Cronenberg's first chioce was Colin farrell. I think the perfect guy to play this character is Micheal Pitt from Boardwalk Empire.

BTW what makes u think ur a bigger Cronenberg fan than I am??!
