ROBOTECH: THE MOVIE OST - The Future Is Now

Track #4 of the rare ROBOTECH: THE MOVIE soundtrack that was released in Europe (Unsure as to what area of Euorpe)

ROBOTECH: THE MOVIE was released in several European countries, some of which the movie did very well at. One item that was released as an LP of the movies soundtrack. The soundtrack itself contains songs that have been released in past ROBOTECH music collections, but some of the tracks from the movies OST differ to those that have been released. The OST also contains a longer version of the main theme and a track that was not in the movie and has never been released in any other ROBOTECH Collection.

Please note that the qaulity of the music tracks is not very high as they were ripped from an record.

Too bad that Mr. Macek totally ruined this project by trying to go the cheap route and combine existing footage rather than having new stuff animated.

@skendrii1 It's not Carl Macek's fault the movie ended up as it did, he wasn't in charge of Harmony Gold, he just worked for them. Had HG actually had the money, I'm sure he would of pushed for an actual movie instead of just redubbing Megazone 23. HG were too busy planning Robotech II: The Sentinels and so much of their funding was going into that and even then they needed Matchbox to help fund that project. When Matchbox pulled out, HG couldn't fund it themselves.
