DuPont Circle Metro.mov

Martine riding the metro from the du pont circle station up toward silver spring. I love riding the metro because it is clean, quiet and futuristic, with its high, arched ceilings. I moved to DC over NY because the DC metro was so much more advanced than the screeching wheeled NY subway, which I endured for a whole summer while clerking at Cravath, Swaine and Moore in 1980. It is cool how du pont circle has the longest escalator in the world at its metro stop.
