@ksuowl2 Maybe because I am sure that he will. He should defidentally be pushed up ahead of some shortstope in these rankings. Jeter is old and washed up. So thats 1 spot taken. Asdrubal had an amazing season last year. I'm sure he's got many more to come.

@superthunderpikachu nope. Big Cubs fan. You cant honestly say that Dj is #1 now. You would put him ahead of Tulo, Hanley, and Reyes? MLB.com has Jeter #8 with those 3 at top. and #4 Castro / #5 Asdrubal Cabrera / #6 Elvis Andrus / #7 Jimmy Rollins. Tulo has incredible power to all fields and is a gold glover and silver slugger. Hanley was on the DL about half of 2011 and was playing hurt when he did play. MLB.com projects a line of .293/.384/.738 for Jeter. hes been in decline since 09.

@ksuowl2 Ok I don't think he is the best ss ever. I think he is the best ss right now. Oh and by the way. Bleacher Report said Derek wasn't even the most overrated Yankee! I bet you he will hit .300 up this season. DJ will prove u wrong. P.S. Just out of curiosity, are you a Red Sox fan?

Just last year Sports Illustrated asked 185 mlb PLAYERS who they thought were the most overrated players in baseball today. results: 1. Alex Rodriguez...2. Joba Chamberlain...3. Derek Jeter....Jeter is in decline mode and will keep declining. He is going to be 38 years old this season! Once his current contract is up dont expect him to be a yankee anymore. He will either retire or some sucker will get him
