408 Mustang Road Test (5-105 mph) No Traction!

First time testing the Mustang with the new 408 engine. Wasn't fully prepared for the signifigant loss of traction even with the drag radials.

Took to the track later that week and ran the following...

60' - 1.604
1/8 - 6.970
MPH - 99.61
1/4 - 10.942
MPH - 122.22

This was using only the footbrake. With the trans brake and some better traction it should dip in the mid 10's.

@anthony1bad351 Thanks...high 10's was as fast as I could get it...it was severely traction limited off the line since I never put slicks on.

@kraden18 It has too much to list, but things like solid motor mounts, drag racing suspension and manual steering make it a firm, yet easy enough car to drive on the street....wouldn't want to take a corner with too much throttle either....but in a straight line it is perfection.
