Voting does nothing.
The Occupy movement? Nothing.
No matter what Americans do, the government is out of our hands, and in the hands of corporations.
The only thing that will enact change at this point is, as they once said, watering the tree of democracy with the blood of patriots... And I can quite fully understand why most people aren't willing to go that far.

@tybennion1 Well, Congressional Republicans during the Clinton administration to be specific, but there were a fair number of Democrats as well as the president himself who supported the GLB bill at the time. Hell, you could probably even go as far back as the Reagan administration when adjustable rate mortgage loans were allowed.
The point is that the financial crisis had many multifaceted causes.

@APRtunedAudi You cannot blame it all on Obama. It's our entire government keeping us there. If the American people who are against the war did more than just sit at home and gripe online about it, maybe we would get out of there a lot faster.
